Prof. Alessandro Pozzi

 

An expert in the world of Implantology and Prosthetic Rehabilitation. Specialist in Orthodontics, Gnathology and temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction. Oral surgery specialist. More than 20 years of experience in aesthetic and functional restoration of the oral cavity on both natural teeth and implants.

In the last 15 years he has focused his clinical and research activities on developing innovative protocols for immediate implant prosthetic rehabilitation with minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Former researcher and professor at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, interim professor of Implantology – Oral Surgery at the Polytechnic University of Marche and contract professor at the University of Siena. He is currently a Visiting Professor at UCLA University in Los Angeles where he teaches computerised implantology and minimally invasive aesthetic rehabilitation in the Advanced Clinical Training Program in Surgical Implant Dentistry and a Lecturer in the Department of Oro-Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry at the same American university.

As a world expert, he has published in the most important international journals and in 2013 he received the prestigious Judson C. Hickey Scientific Writing Award in the Clinical Report Category. Active member of the Academy of Osseointegration, of the European Association of Osseointegration and of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He personally performs both surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant rehabilitation, putting his passion into clinical, research and teaching activities every day.

He is involved in teaching and global speaking at an international level, while in his surgery in Rome, he organises courses in Italian and English, for clinicians interested in the integrated minimally invasive digital approach and implant aesthetics.
